SAM O’NEILL hit a match-defining century to guide Kempsey to their first Worcestershire County League Division Two victory, beating Himbleton by 81 runs.
Kempsey were put into bat after losing the toss where O’Neill’s unbeaten 118 went some way to the visitors total of 263-9 after 50 overs.
Mike Rogers (3-73) and Sam Jenkins (2-32) got a share of the wickets for the Meadow Boys who were all out for 182 in their reply.
Steve Winstanley (5-38) grabbed the lion’s share of the wickets for Kempsey who picked up the maximum 24 points.
Kempsey travel to Wormelow on Saturday.
