NEWLY-promoted Hanley Castle & Upton are yet to record their first Worcestershire County League Division Three win following their losing draw at Bromsgrove Thirds.
Bromsgrove notched up 278-5 in their innings with Yogesh Malhotra top scoring with 94.
Thomas Downing also chipped in with 53 before being run out.
In reply Hanley battled away to secure the losing draw, recovering from 82-4 to reach 200-7 in their 50 overs.
Rory Mathews (54) top scored while 50 extras were added to the visitors’ cause.
Hanley take on Five Ways Old Edwardians on Saturday.
