A MALVERN technology company has been given the royal seal of approval after winning the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise for a second successive year.
Metrasens Ltd, based at Sparrowhawk Close in Malvern Link, was honoured in the category of innovation.
Last year it won the category of international trade.
Metrasens provide advanced magnetic detection technologies which are used in hospitals and prisons as well as government and commercial buildings.
Chief executive Dr Simon Goodyear said: “To be recognised with the Queen’s Award in the category of Innovation is a testament to the unprecedented advancements achieved by our team of physicists and engineers.”
