WORCESTER Nomads suffered back-to-back defeats in Worcestershire County League Division One after losing by four wickets to Cookley.
Mark Groves hit an unbeaten 47 for Nomads who were limited to 138-5 from their allotted 50 overs.
The Cookley response was slow and steady but an unbeaten 41 from skipper Paul Thomas guided the hosts to 139-6 in the 48th over.
Ollie Price (3-27) was pick of the Nomads bowlers.
Nomads make the trip to Evesham on Saturday.
