FINAL preparations are underway for a week-long exhibition and sale of affordable art in Malvern.
The event, held at the Malvern School of Art from Monday to Saturday, will feature original work created by many of the artists taking part in the popular Worcestershire Open Studios weekend at the end of August.
Drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, collage, jewellery and even ceramics are all expected to be included.
Visitors to the exhibition will have a chance to bid for the artwork in a silent auction to help raise funds for the Malvern branch of Amnesty International.
The work is signed on the back and the creator’s name will only be revealed when the auction closes at 4pm on Saturday.
Cherrie Mansfield, Worcestershire Open Studios co-organiser, said: “With prices starting at just £15 this is a great opportunity to snap up a piece of unique artwork made here in our wonderful county.
“Some of the artists taking part are just starting out, while others are well-established and are nationally and internationally recognised.
“It’ll be interesting to see how astute viewers are at spotting whose work is whose.”
