MALVERN finally got their first Worcestershire County League Division Three victory at the tenth time of asking after beating Bromsgrove Thirds by five wickets.
The Boars set a respectable target of 289-8 from their allotted 50 overs.
However, Malvern excelled in their run chase as they reached 293-5 after 48 overs.
Bottom-of-the-table Malvern take on third placed Alvechurch & Hopwood on Saturday.
