STUDENTS from The Chase School in Malvern got the chance to take part in a workshop with professional orchestral players from the English Symphony Orchestra.
The Year Seven to Year Ten instrumentalists learned two different pieces chosen by the ESO – the finale from Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony and a medley of film themes by John Williams including Star Wars, E.T and Jurassic Park.
The afternoon’s work resulted in an impressive performance of each piece, showing off all the hard work over the two hours.
Pupils also had the chance to ask questions to the ESO after the workshop.
