HANLEY Castle & Upton remain in the Worcestershire County League Division Three drop zone following their nine-wicket defeat to Netherton.
Only Ed Willcox (40), Daniel Powell (20) and Tony Hutchings (33no) reached double figures as Hanley were bustled out for 121 with 15 overs to spare.
In reply Matthew Lowe (47) and Mark Buttery (36no) put on 85 for the first and only wicket when the former was removed by Hutchings (1-13).
Buttery and Mohammed Nawaz (22no) then pushed Netherton to 122-1 after 18 overs to give the hosts the victory.
Hanley travel to Avoncroft on Saturday.
