RUSHWICK remain in contention for the Worcestershire County League Division Three promotion spots following their nine-wicket victory over Five Ways Old Edwardians.
Rushwick bowlers Niwantha Indima (4-20) and Adam Went (3-37) took the lion’s share of the wickets as Five Ways folded at 103 all out after 29 overs.
In reply Stuart Parker (48 not out) and Alistair Robb (33) eased Rushwick to 107-1 to claim victory.
Rushwick remain one point behind second-placed Netherton heading into Saturday’s home game against Malvern.
