YOUNGSTERS will get the opportunity to develop a taste for acting and understand the workings of a professional theatre with a taster session in Malvern next month.
Malvern’s Coach House Theatre is offering youngsters aged from seven to 12 to join professional drama coach Alyson Chambers to explore what can be done with voice, body, face, movement, costume and props to bring characters to life.
As well as using individual and group work to discover and develop acting skills, there will be an opportunity to see what happens back stage and in the control room.
Act Up 2018 will be a taster day for the weekly after school group which starts at the Theatre in September.
The taster session will be held at the Theatre, on Grange Road, on Friday, August 4 from 10am to 4pm.
Places cost £20 to book or £10 for Malvern Theatre Players junior members.
