RICHARD LINFIELD’s century was not enough for Malvern as they were beaten by six wickets in a high-scoring encounter with Harborne.
Linfield hit 105, featuring 11 fours and six sixes, as the Ramblers posted a competitive total of 322-7 from their 50 overs.
However, Malvern were left licking their wounds as they contributed 82 extras to Harborne’s score of 328-4.
Harborne’s innings was anchored by an unbeaten 158 from Baldev Raj.
