TWO people have died following a fire in Cotheridge.
A 21-year-old man and 18-year-old woman were found inside a house on Bromyard Road.
At around 8pm last night (Sunday), police were informed by the fire service they were in attendance at a fire on Bromyard Road.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Next of kin has been informed but formal identification has not yet taken place.
A cordon remains around the house and fire investigators are at the scene this morning (Monday).
Chief Supt Kevin Purcell said: “We were called to assist the fire service with a fire in Cotheridge, near Worcester, last night at around 8pm, sadly two young people have been confirmed as deceased – a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman.
“A cordon is still in place and a fire investigation will now take place.”
The road has are now re-opened but there are traffic calming measures in place to slow the traffic in the area.
