PUPILS from Clifton-upon-Teme Primary School will have their safety posters displayed around a new housing development in the village after an educational visit to the site.
Showcasing what they learnt during a trip to The Meadows, youngsters drew posters showing how to stay safe on a building site.
The top three entries completed by talented five-year-olds included ‘wear a hard hat’, ‘wear a hi-vis jacket’ and ‘don’t go behind reversing vehicles’.
All three pupils received prizes for their efforts and the winning posters have been put on display around the Lovell Homes development.
Headteacher Cathryn Throup said: “The children have been very curious about the new homes being built so close to our school and Lovell have supported us brilliantly in providing a great learning opportunity for them.”
