PRO-EU group Worcestershire for Europe has invited residents to join members at the upcoming #PutItToThePeople march taking place in London on March 23, writes Thomas Giles.
The United Kingdom is due to leave the European Union on March 29.
Stuart Thomson, chairman of the group which supports a second referendum, said: “As awareness of the consequences of Brexit heightens, it is time to let the people decide.
“Among our supporters, we have several who voted ‘Leave’, who desperately want the opportunity to change their minds now they see Brexit is damaging for our economy and their pockets.”
In the 2016 referendum, 57 per cent of Worcestershire voters opted for Leave.
People can register their interest in joining the march by emailing [email protected], with coaches picking up participants from Malvern, Worcester and Bromsgrove.
