A SPIRE in a dangerous state is having to be removed from Malvern’s Emannuel Church.
Worcestershire Highways have closed the main A449 Wells Road while the work is carried out.
The road will be reopened later this evening with traffic lights in place to ensure motorists’ safety.
The situation has caused issues on the A449 for the past few days.
Work is being carried out to make the structure safe.
