SOME residents in Tenbury Wells were without their phone lines last night after a car hit a telegraph pole.
It happened around 10.15pm on the A443 in Lindridge.
Fire crews from Tenbury and Cleobury Mortimer were sent to the scene and made the vehicle safe.
BT engineers then got to work to resolve the telephone line problems caused by the collision.
The road was also closed for a time while the emergency services dealt with the scene.
It reopened in the early hours of this morning.
