Watch Malvern's Remembrance Sunday commemoration live online

Malvern Editorial 7th Nov, 2020 Updated: 7th Nov, 2020   0

RESIDENTS will be able to watch Malvern’s Remembrance Sunday commemoration live online tomorrow.

Because of the Covid restrictions this year’s event has been scaled down.

Representing the people during the short Act of Remembrance will be the Malvern Hills Mayor Neil Morton who will lay a wreath, along with the chair of the Malvern Hills Remembrance Committee Anthony Hartley-Woolley.

People are being urged not to go to war memorials to ensure any services comply with the Government’s Covid restrictions.

The video will be available live on the Malvern Town Council Facebook page facebook.com/MalvernTC from 10.50am tomorrow.

It will also be available to view afterwards on the town council’s website and Facebook page.

People are also encouraged to print off the official poppy picture from the Royal British Legion website and display it in their window, in return for a donation to the charity.
