'Volunteers, NHS support and Clap for our Carers was humbling' - Christmas Message from Malvern District Council Leader

Malvern Editorial 24th Dec, 2020   0

IT IS no doubt that 2020 has been a difficult year for all.

For me, this year has been all about overcoming challenges and supporting communities.

From the devastating floods in February, leading straight into the pandemic, to shopping for residents and attending National Local Government meetings, every day has been a huge learning curve.

Seeing volunteers step forward to support our communities, clapping for the NHS, traders rebuilding their livelihoods and the innovation of our local businesses has been incredibly humbling.

This year has shown us to appreciate the small things, as we never know what can happen tomorrow.

I encourage everyone to continue to follow the Government guidelines and to have a safe and happy Christmas.
