A DRIVER has undergone surgery at Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital after a crash on the A4103 at Bransford.
A Nissan Micra – travelling towards Worcester from Leigh Sinton – collided with an articulated lorry heading in the opposite direction after crossing the central reservation around 6.30am on Saturday.
The 38-year-old driver received several serious injuries which are thought to be life-changing.
He was taken to the Royal Worcestershire Royal Hospital for initial treatment before having the surgery at the QE where he remains in a stable condition.
The driver of the lorry attended Worcestershire Royal Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
