TEAM Zulu are today (Friday, July 8) taking on their 12th Worcestershire Way Walk to raise funds for charity.
This will be their last year doing the walk so the group has been looking forward to a good last trek across the beautiful 24- mile course.
From year one when it was just Tarquin Shaw-Young to now, more than 30 people have been part of the team which has raised in excess of £40,000 for St Richard’s Hospice.
Supporters need not fear for the future as the team will be moving onto a new challenge next year.
The walk takes participants from Bewdley to the Red Lion in Malvern and walkers began their trek at 5.45am this morning.
The distance is the equivalent of one fifth of the ascent of Everest in a day.
Tarquin said: “We are always looking for sponsors for the amazing work that the Hospice provides.”
