ALMOST £15,000 has been raised for the armed forces charity Help For Heroes from the 11th Malvern Hills Challenge trek, writes Holly Clement.
A total of 350 people took part in either the 9km or 18km walk, testing their stamina and catering for all ages.
Walkers enjoyed taking in breathtaking views of the Malvern Hills.
Organiser Gordon Waddell said: “Once again, a lot of hard work, by a dedicated team, produced a day enjoyed by all, especially knowing the wonderful charity for which the money was being raised.”
The final sum will not be known until some time in October, but the total is already approaching £15,000.
The walk was sponsored by Malvern College, Vision Profiles, WHC Hire Services and Masefield Veterinary center.
