SEVERAL drivers were caught speeding in Malvern during a special police operation.
A team of officers from Malvern Police carried out a monitoring exercise yesterday afternoon in Longdon, Severn Stoke and Wells Road.
Those caught will be prosecuted and can expect points and fines in the post.
Speeding usually leads to three penalty points on the drivers’ licences and a £100 fine.
The operation was aimed at clamping down on those flouting the law and making the roads concerned safer.
