Shoplifters 'abusive' and 'threatening' towards staff at Malvern Co-op

STAFF at a Malvern Co-op were threatened and treated abusively by four female shoplifters on Thursday June, 8.

The Co-op on Worcester Road, Malvern was shoplifted by four Irish females who ran out of the store with lots of bags of items without paying for them after being abusive and threatening towards staff in the store.

The incident happened at 7pm and involved two adult females and two younger females. One adult was wearing a light blue t-shirt with navy shorts, another was wearing red shorts and a white t-shirt, all had brown hair and were a large build.

Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to contact police.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.”
