MALVERN Hills District Council has relaunched a scheme which supports community projects in the region.
The Ward Budget scheme provides councillors with £500 per year to fund plans which make a difference in the community.
The scheme is intended to allow councillors to assist local projects financially, support local plans and opportunities which would also allow councillors to become more involved in their communities.
Councillors are entitled to use their allocation, in whole or in part, to contribute towards a local project which is receiving finance from other sources.
In 2022/23 £13,000 had been allocated to more than 50 projects and organisations in the region.
Applications for the Ward Budget scheme opened to businesses on July 24.
