We have all seen the odd stray trolley on our trips to the supermarket but residents in Malvern were flabbergasted to see one hanging from a lamppost yesterday (October 5).

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) confirmed a special rope rescue team from Malvern fire station were called out to a ‘dangerous structure’ today (October 5).
The crew responded to Malvern Retail Park on Roman Way at 1.09pm and used their rope rescue tools to remove the precariously placed trolley.
HWFRS had no information regarding how the trolley was put there but a comment on Facebook suggested somebody had put it there by using a cherry picker which had been left in the car park with the keys in.
Others took to the comments to claim aliens were responsible for the seemingly un-explainable event.
Another user wrote: “Funny it may be… but a bit dangerous really. Hope it does not fall on someone.”
