The Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire, Mrs Beatrice Grant was ‘thrilled’ to see 12 Worcestershire individuals presented with honours.

Mrs Beatrice Grant said: “I am delighted that twelve Worcestershire residents have been recognised in the 2024 New Year’s Honours list.

“In awarding these National Honours, HM The King is recognising the achievements of people from all walks of life for the work they do, either in public life or within their communities.

“These are the people who really make a difference to the lives of those around them and I send them my sincere congratulations.”

The Standard has approached the school for comment from Mrs Hornby.
