RESIDENTS in Malvern arose this morning to a blanket of snow which had fallen during the early hours.
As locals made their journeys to work or stepped out to make the most of the first snowfall of the year, many photos were snapped of the town covered in beautiful white snow as the run rose.
An avid local photographer, Tarquin Shaw-Young, was one of the residents determined to capture the town in all of its winter glory.
He captured Great Malvern Clock Tower as it appeared to climb towards the clouds in which the snowflakes were falling from.

And in a scene reminiscent of Narnia, Tarquin captured an old street light nestled under tree canopies dusted in light powdery snow.

He also snapped a couple of dogs enjoying the first snow of the year among a few other interesting shots.
