A WHOLE host of council owned car parks across Malvern are set to offer free parking on selected dates in the lead up to Christmas.
Malvern Hills District Council has announced plans to make the selected number of car parks free all day to encourage both residents and visitors to support local businesses in the district.
All of the council’s pay and display car parks in Great Malvern and Barnards Green will be free all day on three Friday’s in December (Dec 6, 13, 20)
In Tenbury Wells, all of the council’s pay and display car parks will be free all day on three Saturday’s in December (Dec 7, 14, 21).
And in Upton-upon-Severn, all of the council’s pay and display car parks will be free all day on three Saturday’s in December (Dec 7, 14, 21).
Councillor Julie Wood, Portfolio Holder for Tourism and Economic Development at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “We are really pleased to offer free Christmas parking once again.
“We would encourage all residents and visitors to support our local businesses during this time, it is a great opportunity to explore our wonderful town centres and all they have to offer.”
