LEE Hooper believes his Malvern Town side has enough quality to cause play-off chasing Melksham Town plenty of problems this weekend.
Malvern ended a five-game winless run with a 3-2 victory against 10-man Bemerton Heath Harlequins in their last outing at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium.
And ahead of a tough trip to Melksham, who currently occupy the final Southern League Division One South play-off spot, Hooper wants his side to play with the same work rate which secured the points against Bemerton.
Hooper said: “We have to work hard to try and get a result at Melksham, they’re a decent side and started the season really well.
“They’re a good team, they beat us two-nil at home earlier on in the season, we made two mistakes and it was costly.
“But we’ll be going there in good spirits, we’ve got to put in that same effort and work rate and we’ve got the quality to score the goals.
“Hopefully, we can go there and get three points.”
Malvern travel to Melksham on Saturday, January 18 with kick-off at 3pm at Oakfield Stadium.
