REOPENED Cats Protection charity shop in Great Malvern is calling on cat-lovers to clear-out their clutter and donate goods or time to help needy cats, writes May-Ling Turner.
The shop is located at 129 to 131 Barnards Green Road and is keen to receive good quality donations especially toys, children’s clothing and games.
Appeal for volunteers
It is also looking for new volunteers to join the team.
Volunteering presents an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to start their year with an introduction to charity work, learn new skills, add to their CV and help cats in the process.
No experience is required for those interested.
Volunteers will be fully-trained and help with the day-to-day running of the shop.
They take part in serving customers and sorting donations to helping with stock rotation and creating eye-catching displays.
Numbers of working hours and days are flexible according to one’s schedule.
Donations can be dropped off at the store during opening hours – between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Saturday.
Jess Keitley said: “The new year is always a great time to sift through your wardrobe or sort out any unwanted gifts and bring them down as donations to the store.”
Visit cats.org.uk/volunteeropportunities for further information about volunteering or call into the shop for an informal chat.
