THE MALVERN Hills has been ranked as the fourth best outdoor hidden gem in the UK according to a new study, writes Maya Evans.
A report released by the pizza oven brand Gozney analysed 37 locations around the UK and ranked them based on factors such as the number of positive visitor reviews, the number of walking trails, the average temperature and the number of campsites nearby.
Beating the likes of Cornwall’s Porthcurno Beach and Cumbria’s Aira Force Waterfall, the area was noted for its stunning views of rolling hills and the vast number of places to stay, with 17 campsites nearby.
Additionally, the area boasts an impressively low average of only 8.2 rainy days per month.
The Malvern Hills also stand out in the study for having the third-highest number of positive reviews, coming in at a staggering 486,000 annually.
Another honourable mention goes out to Worcestershire’s Lickey Hills, comfortably making the Top 20 at 14th place.
Shanklin Chine on the Isle of Wight finished top of the table with 1,0001 positive visitor reviews in January 2025.
