A CARE home in Malvern will be celebrating Easter with a whole host of activities for families and other members of the local community to help raise funds for a good cause.
Elgar Court Care Home on St Andrews Road, Malvern is hosting an Easter Bunny Hunt, an Easter cake decoration competition and an Easter coffee morning – all to raise funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice.
On Saturday (April 12), from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, the Easter Bunny Hunt will be free for children under 10-years-old. Youngsters must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
And next week, on Monday (April 14) from 10.30am to 12.30pm, Elgar Court will host its Easter care decoration competition. Entry costs £3 will all proceeds going to Acorns.
Last but not least, the home’s Easter coffee morning and raffle will take place next Thursday (April 17). Again, all proceeds will go to Acorns.
General Manager, Sarah Cadwallader, said: “As always, we’ve all been looking forward to Easter.
“It’s such a lovely time of year – the residents love all the colourful Easter eggs and family and community events we hold. It’s going to be an eggs-cellent few days.”
Residents at Elgar Court Care Home really enjoy seeing everyone coming to the home and making new friends, so the community are encouraged join them over the next few days.
