A SUSPECTED arson attack on an abandoned building in Malvern this morning (Friday, May 30) has prompted a police appeal for witnesses.
Emergency services responded to a report of a fire around 4am at The Fountain Stores on Court Road.
PC David Olczak said: “Thankfully no one was injured because of the fire this morning, but it could have been a very different outcome if the building had been occupied.”
The force are now appealing for information to help with the investigation. Residents are encouraged to check dash cam or doorbell footage.
