MALVERN Town have completed the double signing of Ben Baxter and Luke Salter ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Hillsiders boss Lee Hooper is continuing to shape his squad since taking sole charge of the first team.
Baxter plays at left-back while Salter operates in midfield with both players joining from Hartpury University.
Baxter said: “What really stands out for me about Malvern is the club’s ambition and tight-knit community feel.
“After speaking with Hoopsy and Bev, and a few of the lads already there, it was clear that this is a team with a strong vision and a great atmosphere – something I really want to be a part of.
“On the pitch, fans can expect 100 per cent commitment from me every time I step out.
“I’ll bring technical quality, creativity, and some goals and assists from the left-hand side as well.
“Off the pitch, I’m here to give 100 per cent for the badge and help push the Hillsiders forward, both on and off the pitch.”
Salter added: “I’m really exited to be here. What made me commit was the ambition of the club and the way they want to play.
“After speaking to both Hoops and Bev, and a few of the lads, it felt like the best fit for me.
“It’s a club that’s clearly going in the right direction after such a good season last year, and I’m buzzing to be apart of it.
“I’d like to think I’m an exciting player who is always looking to get on the ball and play forward.
“I want to make things happen in the final third and hopefully can chip in with plenty goals and assist along the way.
“Off the pitch, I’m someone who enjoys being part of the group and getting involved, got good energy around the changing room and the club.”
