MALVERN Town have appointed striker Ryan Brunt as the club new director of football for the 2025/26 season.
Brunt will combine his new director of football role alongside his playing duties at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium.
The 32-year-old joined Malvern in January earlier this year after spending the majority of his career in the Football League.
Brunt said: “I have really enjoyed my time at Malvern so far, and it is clear this is a club with ambition.
“It is not just about results on the pitch, there is a proper vision here, and I am excited to contribute more formally off the field in a role that allows me to add value from both a playing and leadership perspective.”
Malvern chairman, Chris Pinder added: “Ryan and Phil represent the best of what we are trying to build at Malvern Town, capable, committed people who care deeply about the club and want to drive it forward.
“These appointments help us build the right structure for the future, while keeping our values and ambition at the centre of everything we do.”
Brunt has made more than 200 career appearances and featured for the likes of Plymouth Argyle, Bristol Rovers, Leyton Orient and Tranmere Rovers.
Another change off the pitch will see Philip Earl take up the position of director of development.
