MUSIC lovers in Malvern are in for a treat this summer as the town’s Music in the Park events continue until September.
An 18-week programme of free concerts in Priory Park kicked off in May and continues until mid-September.
Organisers, Malvern Town Council, have booked a range of music genres including alternative, light rock, country/folk and jazz, as well as the more traditional and ever-popular brass bands.
The last show this month will be on Sunday (July 27) with Family3Steel Band.
There are five shows throughout August to entertain visitors to the park. First up is Totally Stu’d on August 3 followed by Nothin’ but Dust, an alternative band on August 10, Tewkesbury Town Brass Band on August 17, alternative group Lee Richardson and Friends on August 24, and last but not least is blues band Bourbon Alley on August 31.
Closing out the event programme is Flat Tonic, another alternative offering on September 7 and Worcester Concert Band on September 14.
Each event is hosted on a Sunday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
