Councillor Beverley Nielsen, portfolio holder for economy and tourism, at Malvern Hills District Council said: “It’s really encouraging to see independent businesses springing up and thriving right across Malvern Hills.
“The area is gaining a growing reputation as a valued destination for its vibrant retail experience.
“I know how much this means to people living here and I hope everyone will back our businesses and help our district to grow and prosper.”
The news of fresh business ventures comes in the wake of data revealing that Malvern’s tourism economy is being heavily boosted thanks to a 10 per cent rise in overnight stays across the district. This increase boosted the district’s economy by close to £80 million in 2024.
