RESIDENTS across Worcestershire can now make the most of local support services thanks to the relaunch of the county’s online directory.
Worcestershire County Council’s Community Services Directory acts as a one-stop shop for health, wellbeing, and community services, bringing together hundreds of opportunities to help people stay informed, independent, and connected.
From wellbeing support to local social groups, the platform makes it easier than ever for residents to access what they need in their communities.
Councillor Ian Cresswell, cabinet member for communities at the county council, praised the updated site.
He said: “The Community Services Directory is a fantastic example of how we can bring communities together.
“It is an essential gateway to opportunities, connections, and support for people across Worcestershire. I’m proud to see this resource relaunched.
“I would encourage everyone to explore it, encourage any services or support groups that you work with closely to sign up and also share it widely so our residents are able to understand what is available to them.”
Extensive improvements have been made to ensure the directory is more accessible, user-friendly, and comprehensive than before. The project highlights the council’s commitment to reducing isolation and strengthening communities across Worcestershire.
