Remembrance Parade times in Malvern, Tenbury Wells and Upton-Upon-Severn

MALVERN, Tenbury Wells and Upton-upon-Severn will be among the areas falling silent on Remembrance Sunday, November 9, with parades and services in the town and village.

Upton-Upon-Severn

The parade will set off from New Street at 10.20am on its journey to the Parish Church on Sunday November 9.

After the service, the parade will head back to the War Memorial at approximately 11.45am for the wreath-laying ceremony.

On Tuesday November 11 there will be a short wreath-laying and flag-raising ceremony outside the Memorial Hall at 10.45am.




Tenbury Wells

The Tenbury Royal British Legion (RBL) Choir will hold a 2025 Poppy Concert at St Mary’s Church, featuring the Tenbury RBL Choir, Tenbury Town Band and Tenbury and Burford Primary School Choir.


Tickets are £5 per person on the door and the concert starts at 5pm.

The parade will set off from  Tesco to St Mary’s Church at 10.15am. The wreath laying ceremony will be at 10.25am, church service at 10.50am, and the parade from St Mary’s Church to Tesco at 11.50am.

On Tuesday November 11 there will be a two minute silence ceremony at 10.55am in the Civic Memorial Garden, followed by refreshments in the Pump Rooms.

Great Malvern

On Remembrance Sunday Malvern Town Council is joining forces with Great Malvern Priory Church to hold a morning service from 10am.

This will be followed by a parade down to the War Memorial at Malvern Library, where a wreath-laying service, including a two-minute silence at 11am, will be observed.

On Tuesday November 11 from 10.45am to 11.15am a cross-planting service will be held in Great Malvern Priory.

Malvern Wells

Malvern Wells Parish will hold a Ceremony of Remembrance at 12pm at the Village War Memorial, Wells Road, followed by refreshments in the Village Hall.
