MALVERN Town Council have announced the launch of a new event raising money for a children’s charity.
The event – Taste of the Hills – is a food and drink festival taking place on March 8 at Malvern Cube in aid of Malvern Special Families.
There will be a variety of food and drink vendors showcasing local cakes, gin, sweets and even vegan scotch eggs.
Throughout the day there will be a range of talks highlighting various tastes, sustainable agriculture and some demonstrations from local chefs and businesses.
Mayor of Malvern, Coun Marilyn Birks, said, “I am thrilled to welcome local traders from across the Malvern Hills to our Taste of the Hills events coming this March in aid of raising money for my chosen charity, Malvern Special Families.
“Malvern Town Council wanted to give residents the opportunity to sample produce that has been made locally from around the Malvern Hills with plenty of wonderful food and drink offerings available on the day.”
