HEART of Worcestershire College (HoW College) is inviting the local community to its Malvern campus for a hands-on Construction Open Event.
The community focused event will give visitors of all ages the chance to step into the world of construction and try practical activities in a friendly and welcoming environment, whilst seeing everything that HoW College has to offer.
Guests will be able to have a go at bricklaying, take part in interactive activities and games designed and built by the current construction students, and meet local employers to learn more about careers and apprenticeship opportunities within the industry.
Tutors and staff will also be available to provide information about construction courses available at the Malvern campus and to answer questions about progression routes into employment.
Nicky Carter, director of curriculum at HoW College, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming the Malvern community onto campus for what promises to be an engaging and inspiring morning.
“This unique event is all about getting hands-on, meeting local employers and showing how our courses can open doors to exciting careers.”
The event takes place from 9.30am until 12.30pm on Saturday April 18.
