MALVERN’S 19-week Music in the Park programme is back for 2026, hosting a variety of bands from brass, folk, and jazz.
This programme will run Sunday afternoons from May 10 until September 13 and will take place in Priory Park.
These popular concerts are free to attend and usually take place every Sunday from 2.30pm until 4.30pm.
People are encouraged to bring along chairs or a blanket and perhaps a picnic to enjoy a relaxing afternoon of music against the beautiful surroundings of Priory Park.
The 2026 programme will be our most varied programme to date, with a varied range of music, including brass, blues, jazz and folk, as well as the return of the very popular steel band from last year’s programme.
In addition this year, there will be Malvern Town Councillors in attendance at each Sunday concert.
Malvern Town Council are asking attendees to be mindful that due to ongoing works at the back the theatre there will be reduced space for seating within the park.
Attendees are encouraged to use all areas of the park including spaces on the other side of the bridge to enjoy the music.
Access from and to Grange Road, Orchard Road side of the park is now restricted as a result of the building works.
