FOOTBALL - Malvern Town to start season with home game against Hanwell Town as 2026/27 fixtures released

MALVERN Town will begin life as a Step Three club with a home game against Hanwell Town on the opening day of the season.

The Southern League released the fixtures for the 2026/27 season with Malvern preparing for a first-ever campaign at Step Three in the Premier South division following promotion last term.

And Lee Hooper’s side begin the campaign at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium with a home game against Hanwell on Saturday, August 8.

The Hillsiders then travel to Taunton Town on Tuesday, August 11 in the club’s first away game of the campaign.

Malvern close out the first month of the season with a trip to Bracknell Town (August 15), host Wimborne Town (August 22), travel to Gosport Borough (August 29) and entertain Chippenham Town (August 31).

Town play three league games in September which includes a home match against Gloucester City (September 22) and a trip to Bath City (September 29) at the end of the month.




And Malvern play seven league games in October which includes the reverse fixture against Bath (October 27).

Worcester play five games in November and four games in December with City to travel to Berkhamsted in the club’s final game before Christmas (December 19).


And Malvern welcome rivals Evesham United to the HDAnywhere Community Stadium on Boxing Day (December 26) in what marks the club’s final game of 2026.

The Hillsiders begin the New Year with successive away games against Chippenham (January 2) and Chichester City (January 9) before hosting Plymouth Parkway (January 16) in the club’s first home match of 2027.

Town play four games in February and five matches in March which includes a trip to rivals Evesham (March 29).

Worcester begin the final month of the campaign at home to Gosport (April 3) and then travel to Poole Town (April 10) before hosting Berkhamsted (April 17) on the final day of the season.
