IT WAS a lucky escape for two drivers after they crashed on Barnards Green Road in Kempsey.
Officers were on their way to assist with another emergency call when they came across the crash.
The road was partially blocked whilst officers dealt with the incident and ensured the safety of those involved. The Fire and Ambulance services were also in attendance assisting with this incident.
Officers said: “Investigation into this collision is on going however luckily no injuries were sustained to the occupants of the vehicles.
“We would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while the incident was managed and the road was cleared.
“Thank you for your co-operation.”
