RESIDENTS are being urged to paint the town black and white to mark National Badger Day.

The Badger Trust have organised a walk through Malvern on Saturday (October 10) from 11am to 3pm to celebrate how important one of Britain’s oldest native species are.

People can dress in black and white and also have the opportunity to have their face painted like a badger.

The walk will start at the bandstand in Priory Park and will go through the park grounds, past Malvern Theatre, through the Priory grounds, up to the Elgar Statue in the centre of Great Malvern and up to Rose Bank Gardens before heading up the Malvern Hills.
