Hotline number available following Paris attacks

Malvern Editorial 14th Nov, 2015 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

A SPECIAL hotline number has been created for families concerned about the safety of British citizens in Paris after a series of gun and bomb attacks in the city left more than 100 people dead.

The dedicated number has been set up by the UK Foreign Office after Friday night’s horrific scenes which saw gunmen burst into the Bataclan concert hall killing dozens of people before security forces stormed the hall.

People were shot dead at restaurants and bars at five other sites in Paris.

The French prime minister has declared the country a national state of emergency.

Anyone with concerns about British people who may be stranded in the French capital as a result of the attacks on the city they can call 0207 008 1500.
