Lulu to perform in Malvern in April

LULU is to perform in Malvern later this year as part of her latest tour, it has been announced.

The international singer-songwriter will be performing at The Forum Theatre on Friday, April 22, taking audiences on a musical journey through her 50-year career.

The Grammy-nominated singer will be performing hits from her 50 year career, such as ‘To Sir With Love’, ‘The Man Who Sold The World’, ‘Relight My Fire’, and of course ‘Shout’.

As well as performing songs from some of her musical heroes, such as soul legends, Ray Charles and Otis Redding, she will tell an expected big audience personal anecdotes, song writing experiences, and other entertaining stories from her showbiz life.




Lulu shot to fame in the 1960s when she released her debut single Shout at the age of just 15. Since then she has gone on to release a staggering 21 studio albums and 65 singles enjoying success across the globe.

She said: “2015 was an exceptional year for me. From performing at Glastonbury, releasing my first self-penned album and touring solo with my fabulous band for the first time in ten years.


“I had so much fun, I’ve decided to get back out there and do it again in 2016 and I can’t wait.”

The Grammy-nominated artist will be performing hits including ‘The Man Who Sold the World’, ‘To Sir With Love’ and smash hit, ‘Shout’.

Theatre director Peter Taylor said: “Lulu is a fun performer and one who well and truly entertains her audiences.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for the people of Malvern to welcome a world-class star to their town.”

Tickets go on sale from the Theatre Box Office at 9am on Friday (February 5) costing from £35.
