New fun French classes coming to Malvern

A NEW business which makes learning a new language fun for children and their parents is coming to town next month.

Fab-u-Lingo has already started French classes at the Kindle Centre in Hereford and at just two weeks old, the business is branching out to Lyttelton Well in Malvern with a taster session on Monday, October 3.

First time business owner Katie Mayne says she has already received a lot of interest in the classes and believes they will give children the chance to have fun as well as singing songs and taking part in games involving French.

She said: “Many studies have shown that pre-school children are very responsive to acquiring a new language and will be much better at pronunciation than if they wait until they start school.

“Other research has shown that the benefits go beyond the learning a language with children learning a second language scoring much higher in Maths and English tests as it helps develop the children’s cognitive abilities.

“The children have fun whilst earning and meet Pierre a lovable monkey who joins in with all the French fun.”

Sessions cost £4 and for more information email Katie at [email protected] or visit www.fab-u-lingo.co.uk/french-classes.
