AN OUTDOOR screening of one of the most famous movies of all time caused quite a splash with hundreds of Malvern residents.
More than 300 people packed in to Priory Park last Sunday (September 27) to watch Jaws on a screen the size of a double decker bus.
The event, organised by Malvern Hills District Council along with Malvern Theatres, was held to mark the 40th anniversary of the Spielberg classic.
Plans are also afoot for future outdoor cinema screenings next year.
Simon Smith, economic development manager at the council, said: “The evening was a fantastic success with a huge turnout and was greatly received by the public.
“Everyone got in to the spirit of the event and brought along chairs, blankets, picnics and some even brought blow up beds and wore onesies.”
