Met Office issues snow warning for Worcester and Malvern

THE MET Office has issued a yellow snow warning for snow in Worcester and Malvern.

According to the current forecast there will be rain off and on overnight and tomorrow before it turns to snow around 5pm in Malvern and 8pm in Worcester.

The temperatures are expected to drop to 2°C and the snow is expected to continue until the early hours of Wednesday morning.

As well as the snow, there is also a yellow warning for ice and experts warn there could be travel delays, although public transport cancellations are less likely.




Motorists should take care on roads and pedestrians on pavements as conditions could be slippy and treacherous.
